GATEWAY KIDS

Welcome To Gateway Kids Online!

The Christmas holiday is coming! Don't forget to include church in your plans. Kids church is transformed with decorations in every room. Christmas Eve services are at 4:00 and 6:00pm. We are checking in kids from 0-5 years old. Church service on December 26th will be online only. On January 2 we debut a new source for our Nursery and Preschool teaching. The book, Everything a Child Should Know about God, was written by Kenneth N. Taylor, the founder of Tyndale Publishers and the author of the Living Bible. Contact me for more information. - Jackie

What to Expect At In-Person Kids Church

Concerned about bringing your children to church? We understand the need to keep kids safe, as well as the grandparents they are in contact with at home.

Gateway Kids is open again during both services with spaces for Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary. We are busy scrubbing all the surfaces each week with anti-bacterial cleaner to be ready for your kids. We have put protocols in place for our volunteers to keep healthy kids healthy throughout this season. Our main objectives of love, safety, fun, and Jesus will still be obvious.

We still want our kids to Know, Grow, and Go- just like us!
See to the right more information.

• We are open for check in of healthy kids during both services.
• All volunteers wear a mask or shield, but they are optional for kids. Everyone uses hand sanitizer at regular intervals, this including on the way in and on the way out.
• All toys are washed after use. Snacks are prepared in advance and served individually.

• Toys are limited to only a few per child. Shared play structures are thoroughly cleaned.
• We ask that your infant or toddler is clean and freshly changed before dropping them off. Then the rest of the family can attend church with confidence.
• An air sanitizer is running with UV light, Ion, Charcoal, and Heppa filters trapping particles and killing germs.

• Parents, please have your child wash hands before entering.
• We thoroughly clean shared toy structures (i.e. kitchen, tool bench, etc.).
• The toys set out to use during play time are limited and are washed after use.
• Tables and chairs receive antibacterial wipe down after use.
• Since preschoolers will always touch each other, we will do our best to keep their hands clean.

• Elementary children check in when they enter the building, but they stay with their family during worship. Afterward they are dismissed to join the leader and go to their room.
• Supplies are disposable where appropriate.
• Tables are wiped down after use.

Questions or Comments?

Our belief is that if we have a clean environment and host clean and healthy kids, we stand the best chance of staying free of illness. We also have faith that the Lord will protect us as we pray over this ministry.
